Hello again
St. Andrews!
This is Boray here. But you can call me Borya. Or Boris. Or... *your* Class Representative™!
A Bit About Me
Born in Istanbul to a multicultural family, I'm a proud world citizen, a fellow aspiring semanticist & philosopher, an awful poet, a moderately good filmmaker, a great admirer of Douglas Adams' works, and of course, hopefully, your class representative.

It will be my distinct pleasure to serve you again this year! I have certainly learned much from my experience as one of your representatives last academic year, and I am ready to make your experience as a PY student even more awesome. Here's a quick outline of some of my plans...

So, what's
the plan?
Here's a few things we'll be working on over the next year:
Introducing the Debate Duos™ network, our flagship project. A network for St. Andrews students to find one another, to discuss, to debate, to disagree. Together.
trials for this scheme will begin within the next 3 months. Please contact me at @bordetase (Instagram) or bdt2@st-andrews.ac.uk, or with the form below, if you would like to help develop this scheme.
INCLUSIVITY
A department where you are free to be you.
COMMUNITY
The Debate Duos™
network.
EXCELLENCE
A student government that actually gets stuff done.
We want to make ours into a department where all are welcome. Looking into different ways in which we can achieve this will be a great part of the discussion moving forward.
A student-led panel will be organised regarding this within the next 3 months.
We want a student government that actually listens; a government that is both accessible and efficient.

I pledge to answer, attempt to resolve and/or pass on all queries regarding your student experience within 1 week day.
...And while we're at it, why not look at a trailer for the first part of a documentary series I haven been working on for the past 2 years, l'humain?

(But what is l'humain, you will ask? Hmm - a philosophical exploration of the question that is humanity? It is also a story of introspection, though, and a journey which brought me to some of the remotest corners of our planet... and perhaps so much more...)
Of course you can! I can't serve the department alone, and I certainly can't do everything I've promised above on my own.
So, if you'd like to join the team, or if you have any early problems that I can pass on, please contact me, either at @bordetase (Instagram), or bdt2@st-andrews.ac.uk, or simply by filling the form below.
